New Project Assignment:-

1) First, check the rank of all given keywords.

2) Check PA, DA, old backlinks of domain already available in Google.

3) Check website content duplicity & other issues on the website.

4) Check canonical issue (If website open with www. & without www. both)

5) Add Canonical tag in the website (if above issue exists).

6) Redirect website from without www. to www.xyz.com or index.html to www.xyz.com.

7) Check the link on the logo and home tab should be www.xyz.com, Not index.html

8) Check for robots.txt file. If not available then add.

9) Check sitemap.xml & sitemap.html. If not available then add.

10) Check dead links using the dead link checker.

11) Check Meta Tags - Title, Description, Keywords in the website. If not available then add.

12)  Check H1, H2 headings in website.

13) H1 Tag should be used only once on the website.

14) H2 - two to three times rest depends upon content density.

15) Check Alt Tag in images. If not available then add. ( keywords are added)

16) Change copyright year from footer into the current year.

17) Check copy content the website using copyscape or another tool. Add unique content on all targeted pages.

18) Check URL Mapping - which keyword is tobe targeted to which page.

19) Generate sitemap - www.xml-sitemaps.com
20) Download all sitemap ina zip file.
21) Upload xml, html sitemap in the website server via ftp.
22) Check website speed using developers.google.com (65+)
23) Check Webmaster & Analytics is added to the project. If not available then add.
